The Columbia Falls wrestling squad pounded the Bulldogs in Whitefish last week, 56-16.

Hunter Peterson (120), Wyatt Green (132) and Cody Walters (160) all won by pin.

The Bulldogs gave up five forfeits in the lopsided Jan. 23 match.

The MatCats wrap up their regular season on Friday with dual meets against Frenchtown and Polson. The Polson dual starts at 4 p.m. and Frenchtown dual starts at 7 p.m.

Both matches are a bit of a preview for the divisional tournament, which will be hosted by Libby on Saturday, Feb. 8. The MatCats, currently ranked fourth in the state, are favored to win the tourney.
