Snow in the forecast through Sunday

Snow is in the forecast for the next four days, with 3 to 5 inches possible in the Flathead on Thursday and winds from the southwest from 8 to 18 mph.
The forecast calls for snow to continue falling Thursday night, with lows around 18 degrees and winds gusting as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent, with 1 to 2 inches of snow possible.
Snow showers are expected to continue on Friday, with a high near 26 degrees, west-southwest winds of 6 to 10 mph, and new snow accumulation of about an inch possible.
There’s a 50 percent chance of snow showers Friday night, with a low around 12 degrees, calmer winds in the evening, and less than an inch of new snow possible.
Chances of snow on Saturday is 40 percent, with a high near 26 and less than one inch of new snow possible. Temperatures could drop to 3 degrees on Saturday night.
Precipitation is considered likely on Sunday, with a high near 22 degrees during the day, dropping to around 0 degrees at night. Little or no snow accumulation is expected.
The weather will change on Monday, with a forecast of mostly sunny, skies with a high near 18 degrees.
