Elda Griffey-Petersen

Elda Rae (Coverdell) Griffey-Petersen, 71, passed away in Pocatello, Idaho, on Feb. 5, 2014, with her three surviving children — Darrel Ray Griffey, Dawne Griffey and Tracy Griffey-Bixby — and her husband Gerald “Pete” Petersen, all of Pocatello, at her bedside.

She is also survived by her mother Helen Coverdell and sister Norma McLauchlin-Burns, of Kalispell; grandson David Greenfield, of Whitefish; and close cousins Dick and Clairice Coverdell, of Martin City.

A memorial service is planned for Glacier National Park this summer.
