The Bigfork School District recently hired a firm to conduct a search for a new superintendent to replace Cynthia Clary, whose last day was Jan. 31.
At a special board meeting Jan. 29, the Bigfork school trustees approved a proposal from David A. Bruno & Associates for $5,500.
Business Manager Eda Taylor said the district has used the company previously.
She said the trustees have a proposal ready to present to former superintendent Russ Kinzer for an interim superintendent position, but they had not been able to meet with Kinzer yet.
The trustees are scheduled to meet with Kinzer this week, Taylor said.
