The Glacier Babe Ruth team is 0-3 at the Babe Ruth World Series in Glen Allen, Va.

Glacier lost to Greenville Tuesday 8-2.

Greenville came on strong, scoring three runs in the first inning, three more in the third and one in each the fourth and fifth. They kept Glacier at bay until the seventh inning when the Montana team scored two runs.

It was the third consecutive loss for the Glacier All-Stars.

Phoenix, Ariz., the Pacific Southwest Regional beat Glacier, the Pacific Northwestern Regional champions, 13-3 on Monday.

Phoenix blew the game open with a 7-run third inning. Phoenix also scored three times in the first and sixth innings.

Glacier, 0-2, scored once in the second, fourth and fifth innings.

Coby Clark-Dickinson, 2 for 3, scored two runs for Glacier and finished with an RBI.

Tanner Gove, 2 for 3, had the other RBI for the All-Stars.

Gove, Colten McPhee and Lee Walburn hit doubles for Glacier.

Both teams made plenty of mound changes with Phoenix calling on five pitchers and Glacier four.

Nolan Gorman and Alex Palacios both went 2 for 3 and drove in three runs to power the Phoenix offense.

Gainesville-Haymarket rallied for a 3-1 victory over Glacier Sunday evening.

Glacier pushed a run across the plate on a RBI single by Lee Walburn in the first inning.

Glacier held a 1-0 heading into the bottom half of the fifth inning when Gainesville-Haymarket, the Virginia state champs, tied it up with a run and followed with two more in the sixth.

Walburn and Coby Clark-Dickinson held Gainesville-Haymarket to three hits. Walburn pitched the first four innings. He allowed one hit, struck out three and walked one batter.

Clark-Dickinson gave up two hits, walked two, fanned one batter and allowed three runs, all earned.
