Tickets for the 2014 Northwest Montana Fair’s RAM PRCA Rodeo on Aug. 14-16 can be purchased at the fairgrounds office or online at www.nwmtfair.com.

The Northwest Montana Fair’s rodeo is the largest outdoor rodeo in Montana, featuring world-class male and female competitors from Canada and throughout the western U.S. aiming for the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas in December.

This year’s pool of contestants is the largest in the history of the Northwest Montana Fair and Rodeo. Nearly 300 male and female athletes are entered in the various events, including bareback, saddle bronc, steer wrestling, tie-down roping, team roping, barrel racing, and bull riding.

West Glacier’s Beau Hill, who is ranked 13th in the nation for bull riding, will be there, as well as Cut Bank’s Dustin Hill, ranked fourth in the nation as team-roping header.

The Justin Mutton Bustin’ sheep riding competition for children ages 5-7 years old will kick off the rodeo at 7 p.m. in the Grandstand Arena.

Relay Racing, featuring teams from across the West competing for cash prizes in this fast-paced bareback event, will take place during the rodeo’s intermission.
