Evelyn Schulz

Evelyn “Elsie” Schulz, 74, passed away March 31, 2014, at the Glendive Medical Center in Glendive, after a short battle with cancer.

Elsie was born on Nov. 9, 1939, in Glendive, the daughter of Emmet and Edith (Trulock) Eyre.

She was raised in Glendive and received her education in the Bloomfield, Glendive and Richey schools. Elsie spent her whole life in Montana working various jobs, retiring from Community First Bank in Glendive in 2005.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Survivors include her sisters Loretta Buller, Lois Hanson and Cherry Zander and her husband Jerry, all of Glendive; brother Butch Strey and wife Heather, of Anaconda; son Richard Frye; and numerous nieces and nephews.

At her request, cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
