The ol' muleskinner is wrong
Last week, ol’ muleskinner wrote that he never thought that supporting a little proposed wilderness in the upper Whitefish Range would make him an elitist.
The ol’ muleskinner shouldn’t be so dishonest, intentionally hiding the fact that he and his friends are trying to grab 80,000 acres for an exclusive playground for those wealthy enough to own a lot of horses and or mules. I’m sure ol’ muleskinner will be offering expensive guide services if he gets his way.
It’s a shame that this proposed land grab isn’t being reported on. Instead, we get the old “we just want to get a wilderness area to protect the land.” You have one — it’s called Glacier National Park and the Bob Marshall, where you will find abundant failures of the government to manage it properly or even protect it from pollution.
Facts are a terrible thing. I hope his mules like eating knapweed because, thanks to the government, there’s plenty there.
