Bridge builder

Hello this is Micah Sobczak. As you know, I am working on my Eagle Scout requirements and my next step is to get my communications merit badge. One of the steps for this is to write to the editor of a local newspaper and express my opinion.

I read your article about Melisa Livingston’s mural, and I thought it was a great painting. I knew Melisa from school, and everyone always talked about how good of an artist she was.

I’m glad she is putting those talents to use and making Cayuse Prairie’s library a really cool place for kids. I think this mural will make kids more enthusiastic about reading books.

I remember when I was little I would always read Dr. Seuss’s books. They were the books I learned how to read with, and I hope other kids will appreciate him more.

I’m proud of Melisa for doing such a great job on this. I know the amount of work it takes to do things that sometimes seem very easy.

P.S. Thanks for being interested in my Eagle project, it means a lot to me.
