Police calls: Knife-wielding man threatens employees

10:15 p.m. Report of a loud house party on Murray Avenue.
Tuesday, Oct. 22
4:39 p.m. Report of someone in a Subaru on Park Avenue that kept opening the door and vomiting. The person had been there 45 minutes.
5:16 p.m. A pair of dental loupes were stolen from a vehicle on Minnesota Avenue.
Wednesday, Oct. 23
2:49 p.m. A boy made threats to hurt himself following a break-up with his girlfriend. The boy was taken to the hospital.
9:13 p.m. Report of a physical disturbance on Colorado Avenue. An intoxicated man was reportedly beating a woman. Children were heard screaming.
10 p.m. Shots were heard near the Whitefish River. Three teenagers were seen running down East 8th Street. One was carrying a hunting rifle.
Thursday, Oct. 24
1:36 p.m. Report of a woman yelling for help near Iowa Avenue.
Friday, Oct. 25
12:45 a.m. The Ride Guy reported a disorderly passenger. The man said he would walk back to Columbia Falls.
8:12 a.m. A resident on Baker Avenue woke up to find a boy rummaging through her bathroom. The boy took off and ran out the back of the house.
5:30 p.m. Two transients on Baker Avenue were harassing people. One of them had a crossbow and a dog.
9:07 p.m. Report of a man with a knife who threatened employees and customers at a coffee shop on Central Avenue. The man told the employees not to call police or things would go bad. Police arrested the man.
Saturday, Oct. 26
6:07 p.m. A suspicious man and woman were seen picking up random items from a construction site on River Lakes Drive and putting them into a van.
7:04 p.m. Report of a spill of some type of liquid on East Lakeshore Drive.
8:10 p.m. A man that reportedly threatened to shoot up a few bars in downtown was trying to make amends. Police told him he wasn’t allowed into those bars.
Sunday, Oct. 27
6:24 p.m. Gusts of wind blew rolls of plastic from a construction site onto Second Street.
10 p.m. A verbal disturbance was reported at a trailer park on U.S. 93 South.
11:50 p.m. A group of men were arguing at a motel on U.S. 93 South. One man may have had a gun.
