1:59 p.m. A bronze statue was reported stolen from a lodge on Wisconsin Avenue.
4:04 p.m. Someone slashed tires and put rocks in a ditch at a home on Creekwood Drive.
Tuesday, Oct. 8
5:59 a.m. Report of an elderly woman who walks through the West 2nd Street road construction site every morning. She wears dark clothing and could be a hazard.
10:04 a.m. A business owner downtown reported an ex-employee who had stolen seven or eight sandwich boards from the business.
10:36 a.m. Fireworks reported on Colorado Avenue.
10:55 a.m. A vehicle was illegally parked across two handicap spaces at The Wave.
10:01 p.m. A homeless man carrying a radio was asked to move along from a business on Central Avenue.
Wednesday, Oct. 9
10:02 a.m. Landscaping tools were stolen from Meadowlark Lane.
Thursday, Oct. 10
9:03 a.m. A woman reported a stolen wallet from her unlocked vehicle on Columbia Avenue. The car smelled like cigarette smoke when she opened it.
Friday, Oct. 11
8:36 a.m. People feeding ducks were causing traffic issues on East 5th Street.
1:08 p.m. Two dogs killed laying hens on Waverly Place. Feathers were all over the place.
3:37 p.m. A transient in an RV that leaked oil was parked on U.S. 93 South. The man became combative when asked to move and cited the Bible and God doctrine. Police intervened and the transient moved along.
4:04 p.m. Report of a possible drug deal on Central Avenue. A man in a beanie with a large backpack took money from a group of people then handed them a bag of something.
10:05 p.m. A creepy man in an RV was parked all day at The Wave. Police advised the man he’s not allowed to sleep in the parking lot.
Saturday, Oct. 12
8:24 a.m. Someone broke into an unlocked vehicle on Creek View Drive.
9:41 a.m. Report of a hit and run on East 1st Street.
12:05 p.m. Report of items stolen from an unlocked SUV on Creek View Drive.
1:27 p.m. A guest was beat up and a room was damaged at a motel on East 8th Street.
Sunday, Oct. 13
2:01 a.m. A case of beer was stolen from a store on U.S. 93 South.
2:56 a.m. A disorderly man was arrested at a hot dog stand downtown.
11:25 a.m. Report of a small gas tank stolen from a vehicle on Creekwood Drive.
11:30 a.m. Report of $200, a knife, jewelry and a tank of gas stolen from a vehicle on Creekwood Drive.
11:50 a.m. A strong smell of marijuana was coming from the freezer at a deli on U.S. 93 South. Police concluded someone was using the freezer as a smoke room.
4:04 p.m. Report of a couple fighting on East 13th Street. The woman was trying to leave in a white station wagon, but the man wouldn’t let her. At one point the man was on the hood of the vehicle. He then chased the woman as she drove away.
6:48 p.m. A boy was arrested for shoplifting at a grocery store.
