C-Falls man dies in motorcycle crash

A 19-year-old former resident of Columbia Falls was killed while riding his motorcycle in Scottsdale, Ariz., on May 12.

According to Scottsdale police, Trevor Fehrenbach was southbound on Scottsdale Road when a northbound SUV turned left onto Dynamite Road. The collision occurred in the intersection.

Fehrenbach was taken to a Scottsdale hospital where he was pronounced dead. Fehrenbach was wearing a helmet.

Fehrenbach graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 2011 and traveled to Arizona that fall to attend the Motorcycle Mechanic Institute in Phoenix. He completed the program on April 29 this year.

He is survived by his father Gary Fehrenbach, of Columbia Falls; mother Brandi Fehrenbach, of Whitefish; sister Korren Fehrenbach, of Kalispell; and grandparents Joseph and Eileen Fehrenbach, of Polson, and Thomas and Kathryn Freeman, of Alaska.

Funeral services will be held at Journey Church, on the west side of U.S. 2 about 1.5 miles north of Glacier Park International Airport on Sunday, May 19, at 3 p.m., with a gathering afterward for friends and family, with food served.
