Blood drive is a big success

| March 19, 2013 10:31 AM

Columbia Falls High School, in partnership with the American Red Cross, recently held its biannual blood drive on March 6, successfully acquiring 35 pints of usable blood.

Not only did students rise to the task of saving lives by donating blood, our many local businesses contributed food to this noble cause as well. Students from both student council and Columbia Falls High School’s CNA program also volunteered.

We would like to thank The Palette Café, Smith’s Food and Drug, The Nite Owl/ Back Room, Laurie’s Deli, Tien’s Place, Los Caporales and Cimmaron Deli for their considerable contributions.

Too often in life, we let acts of kindness go by unnoticed; however, it is these deeds that merit our attention the most. So please help us honor these charitable businesses with our local support.

Thanks again to all involved, and we are proud to say that we are a part of the Wildcat family.

Allison Foust and Lexi Corbett represent the Columbia Falls High School Student Council and are co-chairpersons of the Columbia Falls High School Blood Drive Committee.
