2013 Bulldog football schedule revealed
Kickoff to the Whitefish High School football season is still months away, but a sneak peek at the 2013 schedule reveals an exciting lineup of gridiron action.
The Bulldogs open the season at home Aug. 31 with the annual railroad game against the Blue Ponies of Havre. The nonconference schedule continues with games against Browning, a day-game at Belgrade, then back at home against Corvallis.
Whitefish travels to rival Columbia Falls Sept. 27 to open conference play. The Dogs lost a classic battle to the Cats last year 14-13 on a blocked extra-point attempt.
Homecoming is Oct. 4 against Polson. The top-rated Pirates blew past Whitefish last season 42-10.
New this year is a midseason non-conference match-up at Park High in Livingston.
The Dogs’ final home game is Oct. 18 against Frenchtown. Their season wraps up at Libby on Oct. 25.
There is no bye-week scheduled.
