Summit Classic race

A total of 433 runners competed in the Rocky Mountain Bank Summit Classic 5K and 10K runs on June 15 in Kalispell. Save A Sister golf

The Buffalo Hill “Save A Sister” Ladies Invitational Golf Tournament will take place at Buffalo Hill Golf Course on Wednesday, June 26, with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start. Entry fee is $50 per person non-members and $40 for Kalispell Golf Association members. There will be four hole-in-one prizes. Women are encouraged to wear pink as all proceeds go toward the “Save A Sister” foundation, which provides breast cancer awareness through outreach and education and improve access for screening mammography. Blue Moon Rodeo

The Thursday night rodeos at the Blue Moon Rodeo Grounds in Columbia Falls have been underway for several weeks now. Fifteen rodeos will be held in the 2013 series that will conclude Sept. 14. The event is produced by Brash Rodeo, of Columbia Falls, which is a stock provider along with Pistol Creek Rodeo Co. of Ronan and Toren’s Rocky Mountain Mini-Bruckers of Kalispell.
