Mercy Peterson

Mercy Sebastian Lee Peterson (Armstrong), 18, died in a car accident on June 7, 2013, in Kalispell.

He was born Aug. 26, 1994, in Daytona Beach, Fla., was raised in the Flathead Valley. He attended Glacier Gateway Elementary School, Columbia Falls Junior High School and Columbia Falls, Glacier and Flathead high schools. He was a student at Columbia Falls High School Learning Center when he died.

Mercy was preceded in death by his father Michael Peterson and his mother Shannon Armstrong.

He is survived by his sister Leisa Jackson and husband Wesley; half-sister Juliet Peterson; grandmother Carol Peterson; grandfather Pete McIntyre; stepfather Joshua Armstrong; step-grandmother Patricia Sincavage; many aunts, uncles, and cousins in the Armstrong and Peterson families; and even more friends who are considered family.

A service for Mercy will be held at Columbia Mountain Cabins, 980 Jensen Road, in Columbia Falls, on Friday, June 21, at 4 p.m.
