Good rafting

| July 28, 2013 9:34 AM

I have been hearing around town that visitors to the area have been told by some hotel front desk staff and other establishments that the Middle Fork of the Flathead River is running too low to be any fun for rafting. Here is some information on what the river is actually like right now.

Wondering what the Middle Fork of the Flathead river is running like? There is plenty of water right now. The Middle Fork’s Class II and III rapids are out and still offering rafters a great ride. Rapids like Screaming Right, Bonecrusher and Repeater are at their best.

The Middle Fork of the Flathead is a family friendly river where right now. Kids as young as 7 years old can enjoy the splashy whitewater rapids with their friends and family. The scenic section offers a beautiful, serene trip through gorgeous scenery with no age restrictions.
