1:32 p.m. Report of a man preaching the gospel on East 1st Street. One person told police he found this offensive and that he believes other residents do as well. The preacher was asked to turn down the volume.
7:26 p.m. Someone threw rocks at an RV on Pack Rat Lane.
8:48 p.m. Report of a possible DUI on Dakota Avenue after a driver nearly ran another person off the road. The driver was found in his driveway asleep in his truck with the door wide open.
11:03 p.m. Guests at a condo were upset when the property manager told them not to shoot off fireworks.

6:32 p.m. A baby-sitter was threatened at the Kiddie Park.
10:19 p.m. A black bear was seen on Voerman Road heading toward the river.
Wednesday, July 3
12:51 a.m. An AR-15 rifle was reported stolen from a pickup on U.S. 93 South.
8:20 a.m. Canadians camping in the middle of Marian Crest Lane were advised that they can’t place their tent in the middle of the road.
8:35 a.m. A barking dog with a damaged voice box was reported on Cedar Street. The reporting party suspected animal abuse. Police investigated and found three healthy dogs.
9:34 a.m. Burglars entered an unlocked home on Bay Point Drive and made themselves a sandwich.
1:35 p.m. A computer was reported stolen from Columbia Avenue.
2:47 p.m. The Birch Point railroad crossing was blocked by a train for more than an hour.
7:20 p.m. A patient at the hospital made threats after a doctor wouldn’t prescribe him oxycodone. The patient reportedly said “that’s why God made 45s.” He told police he was referencing a drink.
9:55 p.m. A Seattle man made threats toward the owners of a fireworks stand.
11:19 p.m. There were nine complaints about fireworks between 10:16 - 11:19 p.m.
Thursday, July 4
10:07 a.m. No parking signs at City Beach were spray painted with derogatory stuff.
4:50 p.m. Report of 20 kids lighting fireworks off the footbridge and making a mess.
8:11 p.m. Two women and two men were fighting at a parking lot on U.S. 93 South. One woman was hit.
Friday, July 5
2:04 a.m. A man was cited for using fireworks.
1:08 p.m. Prescription drugs were stolen from a home on Wisconsin Avenue.
7:53 p.m. A woman on Waverly said she was shaken up by the fireworks going off on her street.
9:34 p.m. Decorative gravel was reported stolen from Portage Way.
Saturday, July 6
2:12 a.m. Report of an assault with a weapon on Central Avenue.
2:21 a.m. A driver left without paying for $30 in gas.
2:28 a.m. Kids were swimming at City Beach and making noise.
9:37 a.m. A suspicious lady in a camper parked on East 2nd Street invited a boy and his cousin to see her dog.
1:57 p.m. A cream colored bike with ribbon tassels was reported stolen from Railway Street.
3:15 p.m. A woman’s ex kicked down a door on East 1st Street.
4:37 p.m. Report of a suicidal resident who threatened to “blow his brains out.” The man told police he didn’t have a gun, but that his friends did.
5 p.m. Report of three gallons of paint spilled on the crosswalk on Central Avenue. The subject attempted to clean it up with paint brushes.
9:50 p.m. Report of a group of men golfing naked at Whitefish Lake Golf Club. Police found the men playing shirtless, not naked.
11:11 p.m. Two reports of fireworks on Colorado and Dakota Avenue.
11:49 p.m. A man was mowing his lawn on Wisconsin Avenue.
Sunday, July 7
11:04 a.m. A resident on Dakota reported loud noises coming from a church. She said it happens every Sunday and that she works in the garden and doesn’t care for the noise.
11:25 p.m. An iPad and electrical equipment was stolen from an announcers booth.
1:38 p.m. Children’s scooters were stolen from Skyles Place.
7:53 p.m. The driver of a van left the gas station without paying for $110 in fuel. He told police it was an honest mistake.
10:09 p.m. A man said he was being harassed and accused of being a child molester.
