Racing at Montana Raceway Park on Saturday, July 6, started off with the Bandoleros and Brock Denney setting the fast time yet again at 16.0034. Tyler Emond took home the trophy in the trophy dash. Brock Denney came back in the heat to win, as well as getting the checkered in the main event.

Wes Mijies set the fast time of the night in the Bomber division at 16.885, with Josh Norris only one-thousandths of a second behind him. Bill McCallum captured the trophy in the trophy dash, and carried this through to make it a clean sweep of the Bomber class this night. He scored the win in the heat race and main event as well.

In the Hobby Stocks, Dustin Martel laid down a fast time of 14.858, five-hundredths faster than Casey  Brandt, then pulled out the win during the trophy dash. Will Voth was able to capture the B heat win, while it was Brandt back to the front in the A heat. Martel held the lead for a large portion of the main event, but with a handful of laps to go, Martel lost the lead and his chance for some extra cash. Brandt pulled off his fourth win in a row.

The Super Late Models took to the track for Montana Raceway Parks Firecracker 125. Cory Wolfe set the fastest qualifying time at 13.210, with a large group of 10 veteran drivers within about a tenth of second of him. During the trophy dash, returning Washington driver Dave Garber was the man out front at the checkered flag. It was Kalispell driver Troy Schweigert winning the B heat, and Trevor Emond of Canada, who won the A heat.

The main event in the Super Late Models proved to be as exciting, as every driver was running hard and vying for position. During the early stage of the race, several drivers took a shot at the lead position. By the midpoint, it was Dave Garber out front leading through the countdown to the checkered flag. Trevor Emond gave chase, and during several restarts, gave Garber all he could handle, yet Garber was able to hold on to the lead position and win the Firecracker 125. Trevor Emond was second, Agni Howell was third, Bodie Morton was fourth and Alex Lessor was fifth.
