Langton high point swimmer for C-Falls

The Columbia Falls swim team had some nice performances at the Chester meet June 29-30.

Tyler Langton and Jessica Loyda led the squad. Langton scored 49 points and won three finals events for the team, while Loyda won two finals events and scored 46 points. Jacob Hohman had two-second place finishes and one third to rack up 36 points.

Langton won the 50 freestyle, the 100 freestyle, and the 50 butterfly with times of 36.36, 1:25.4 and 48.42 seconds respectively. Loyda won the 50 free and the 100 free in 30.89 and 1:09.46 respectively.

Loyda’s brother Bubba Loyda won the 200 intermediate medley in 3:03.29 and the 50 butterfly in 34.96.

James Role won the 50 breast stroke in 50.51, and Thomas Kelton won the 100 intermediate medley with a 1:58.64.
