We knew the time was near when she no longer came to bed with us, running between us telling us all about her day. Maggie was the best cat. Not once did she ever do anything wrong, and she would always make sure we both got the same amount of attention to make sure neither of us felt slighted.

For those pet owners who have experienced this one-of-a-kind pet, you know how terrible you have felt or can imagine how you will feel knowing that this would be your last trip to the veterinarian for you and your beloved pet.

But this letter is not meant to sadden you or to make you feel sorry for us or Maggie. This is about the loving, patient experience we had with one of the most wonderful animal clinics we have ever visited, Dr. Lawson and Glacier Animal Hospital in Columbia Falls.

From the time we brought Maggie into Glacier Animal Hospital through the moment of picking up Maggie’s ashes, Dr. Lawson and his staff were professional, empathetic, understanding and caring beyond expectations. You can tell that everyone involved truly cares for the animals entrusted to their care.

There is no way our thanks can come close to the amount of care you gave our Maggie and us during those last moments. Thank you Dr. Lawson and Glacier Animal Hospital.
