Lucille Koser
Lucille Koser, 88, of Whitefish, passed away Jan. 5, 2013.
A family memorial service will be held next summer.
Lucille was born in Scobey on April 8, 1924. She graduated from Scobey High School.
Lucille was married to Sheldon E (Ed) Koser on Oct. 17, 1942 in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. They were for married for 57 years until Ed’s death in 1999.
Lucille and Ed were longtime residents of Whitefish during their working careers where Lucille worked at Anaconda Aluminum and retired in 1975 following a 20-year career as a purchasing agent and executive secretary.
During retirement, they spent their summers at their lake home in Bigfork and their winters in Yuma, Ariz. She enjoyed traveling extensively with Ed in their RV, and over the years, visited every state except Hawaii. She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, fishing, and camping.
She loved entertaining her nieces and nephews and their families, who have many fond memories of time spent with Lucille at her Bigfork home. She loved socializing with her many friends in Yuma.
Lucille is survived by her nieces and nephews, sister-in-law, Marge Clemens and other friends and family members.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Koser; sisters, Ruth Nelson and Beatrice Johnson; and brother, Bob Tande.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the North Valley Hospital Foundation. The family of Lucille wishes to thank the many kind caregivers at The Springs at Whitefish, where Lucille lived for the past year, and all the people who so lovingly cared for her during her final illness at North Valley Hospital.
