This year’s Wildcat football season was an historic one, with Columbia Falls going undefeated in regular season play for the first time since 1976.

Here’s a look at some of the more interesting season-ending stats racked up by the team and its players.

• Quarterback Jared Trinastich completed 193 of 323 attempts for 2,886 total yards and 34 touchdowns. He threw 13 interceptions and had a 59 percent completion rate.

• Receiver Ty Morgan was Trinastich’s favorite target by far. Morgan had 66 catches for 1,073 yards and 16 touchdowns, averaging 16 yards per catch. Morgan also rushed for two touchdowns.

• Running back Zach Darling rushed for 876 yards on 128 carries and had 13 touchdowns. Those stats are impressive as Darling was out with a shoulder injury for several games.

• As a team, the Wildcat defense posted 13 interceptions — Trevor Houston had the most, with three.

• Justice McManus led the defense in solo tackles with 30, followed by Ike Schweikert with 25. Connor Bowman had 115 assisted tackles, and Schweikert had 108.

• Mark Hader led the defense in sacks with 11.5. Will Johnson led in forced fumbles with three. Bowman recovered five fumbles.
