Wildcats earn all state football honors

Seven members of the Columbia Falls football team received all-state honors, and a host of others received all-conference recognition.

The all-staters included quarterback Jared Trinastich, wide receivers Alex Presnell and Ty Morgan, running back Zach Darling, defensive lineman Spencer Ross, inside linebacker Ike Schweikert and safety Josiah Osborne.

First team all conference honors went to center Blake Arneson, guard Garrett White, Morgan, Darling, Presnell (offense and defense), Trinastich, Ross, defensive end Mark Hader, outside linebacker Colton Gove, Schweikert and Osborne as a safety.

Second team all conference honors went to tackle Andrew Burgess, Osborne as a slotback, receivers Trevor Houston and Nakia Alexander, outside linebacker Justice McManus, inside linebacker Connor Bowman, Houston as a safety and Morgan as a cornerback.

Honorable mention all conference was defensive end Kody Pletcher.

Most valuable offensive player honors went to Trinastich and Darling. Most valuable defensive player was Schweikert.
