Peacocks shine at Whitefish race
The Peacock family of Columbia Falls ran well in the 5K races at Saturday’s Whitefish Friends and Family Fun Run.
Father Jim Peacock, 42, took first place in the men’s 5K race with a time of 20:22.6.
Daughters Kimberly, 11, and Haylie, 14, took fourth and fifth in the women’s 5K with times of 24:36.0 and 26:15.2.
Kimberly will be a sixth-grader at Columbia Falls Junior High School this fall, and Haylie will be a freshman on the Columbia Falls High School cross-country team.
A group of runners fromCanmore, Alberta, took the first two places in the men’s and women’s 10K races and in the women’s 5K race.
