Doreen Smith-Szpak

Friends and family of Doreen Smith-Szpak, who lived most of her life in the Flathead Valley and passed away in 2008, are invited to attend a memorial in her honor.

A graveside service to bury her ashes will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia Falls on Saturday, Aug. 24, at 11 a.m. with a barbecue immediately following at the Birch Grove Community Center in Kalispell.

The family asks friends and family to come and celebrate this amazing woman’s life with her loved ones as she’s brought home from Alaska, where she was living at the time of her death, and is laid to rest where she wanted to be.
