Samuel Harvey Fine

| August 7, 2013 8:36 AM

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Samuel Harvey Fine, 64, on July 26, 2013 at his home in Calgary. Harvey was born Jan. 20, 1949 in Turner Valley, Alberta.

He was a lover of nature, fast cars, Chinese food and diet Coke. Harvey’s quick wit, gentle spirit and intelligent mind will be greatly missed by those fortunate enough to have known him.

Harvey found great joy while skiing and boating in Whitefish and during his annual vacations to Rancho Mirage, Calif. There was nothing that brought more happiness into Harvey’s life than his constant and cherished canine companion, Samson. Harvey was a lover of all dogs and was responsible for rescuing and providing for many dogs in need.

Harvey is survived by his brothers, Larry (Elaine) and Arnold (Susan), as well as numerous nieces, nephews and relatives. He is predeceased by his parents, Marty and Sarah Fine.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the many family members and special friends who have showed us overwhelming love and support during the last few months.

A service was held on Aug. 1, in Calgary.

Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
