PEO offers scholarships for women

Women seeking education beyond high school have an opportunity to apply for one of eight financial awards for continuing her advanced education. 

These awards are available through P.E.O., a Philanthropic Educational Organization, where women educate women through scholarships, grants, awards and loans. Opportunities available include Cottey College (a liberal arts college for women in Missouri); Montana Star Cottey Scholarship; P.E.O. Educational Loan Fund; P.E.O. International Peace Scholarship Fund; P.E.O. Program for Continuing Education; P.E.O. Scholar Awards; P.E.O. STAR Scholarship; and the Jane Hammer-Holmgren Scholarship Award. The International Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, founded in 1869, is a philanthropic and educational organization interested in bringing to women increased opportunities for higher education.  The purposes of P.E.O. are accomplished through international, state and local projects.
