Suby drivers unite

As a proud Subaru owner for the past 12 years, I would like to publicly ask other Labrador-retriever-co-piloting, ski-and-bike-rack-toting, “Who’s-your-farmer?”-bumper-stickering drivers of this beloved vehicle to form a united front.

“What is your cause,” you ask?

To individually tell the Don K car dealership that they do not need to rely on advertising gimmicks to solicit our business. Balloons and waving dummies do not do too much for us. In fact, we much prefer our mountain peaks towering above in all of their alpinglow glory, with the swirly clouds dancing about, as we enter and exit our town. We don’t really like to be distracted from this incredible viewshed by man-made distractions.

Assure Don K that we can all clearly see his dealership, we can easily read all of his signage, and that each time we drive by, all of those brand-new, shiny, ripe-for-adventure Subbees tempt us so that one day we will buy one.

And we will, for we all like to support our local merchants who value our amazing landscape and community as much as we do.

Please, fellow fans of fun, give Don K a jingle and thank him for respecting our sign code. I am sure that his business will reap many a reward.
