America is not a 'democracy' anymore, it is a 'plutocracy'

In viewing, factually, our nations form of government as we wind down into the last couple of months of political campaigning, I think it is well to realize that America is not a “democracy” anymore.  It is a “plutocracy.”

The word “plutocracy” comes from ancient Greek “ploutos,” meaning “wealth,” and “kratos” meaning “power,” “domimation” or “rule.”

Let’s put this all in perspective as we look at two fine men, Romney and Obama, running for president of these United States of America. When we all step into the voting booth in November we will actually not be voting for either of these two men’s ideas and ideals. We will be voting for: The Koch brothers, Carl Rove’s gang of millionaires he’s lined up, Grover Norquist who holds many, many Republican congress members in the palm of his hand, and Citizens United and the concept of “corporations are people.” In short, we are voting for huge money interests, not the will of “We the People.”

This is the truth, these are the facts we face, and if this continues America as we think we know it as a democracy no longer exists.

So, what do we do about it? The only solution could well be a full, powerful, and total ‘grass roots’ movement among “We the People” to reclaim and once again experience AMERICAN DEMOCRACY.
