Food bank open house

The North Valley Food Bank is moving ahead with plans for our new building at Flathead and Baker Avenue. Construction will start when we feel safe in starting our project. We want to build without a loan if possible.

Our conserving and conscientious Board of Directors have saved over the years — because of our collecting road kill, garden items, ect., we are able to do this. Plus no wages paid. This week we thank Costco for supplying large amounts of fresh produce.

It will be nice having clients out of the weather and parking for 16 cars instead of three now. Please come to our open house Sept. 19 from 5-7 p.m. at the present food bank to see why we need this project for our town.
