Supports Perry

| October 25, 2012 2:26 PM

Once in a while, a great friend will enter your life and become an important part of it. One of my best friends, Zac Perry, is running for the House District 3 seat that voters will decide on in a few short weeks.

Even though Zac and I fundamentally disagree on some issues, he is a steadfast man of good character, a great listener, an intelligent man, a lover of people, a person with a great sense of humor, and an incredibly hard worker and driven person.

Zac joined me on a 17-mile day-hike up to Triple Divide Pass, and he also hiked Gunsight Pass in one day with me and some other friends — no easy feats.

Zac is an attentive, receptive person who knows the area and cares about the people in District 3.

I am a conservative Republican, and I see Zac as a moderate, “Blue Dog” Democrat. He’s certainly not a left-wing extremist. He’s an important part of our community, and I’m proud to call him a friend.
