Fern would make a great legislator

Please vote for Dave Fern for Senate District 2. His tireless commitment to public service is unsurpassed. In addition to serving as a member of the school board for 18 years, he served as a district representative for the Montana School Boards Association, as well as serving as the School Board’s representative to the Montana High School Association. I cannot begin to fathom the amount of time he has devoted to public education.

In addition, his always thoughtful approach to challenging issues is readily apparent. He constantly seeks out information in preparation for making decisions and is constantly looking for ways provide exemplary education to our students.

He finds provocative articles and challenges the other board members and the school district staff to excel. He truly believes the status quo is not acceptable; we can all do a better job at any endeavor. Dave embraces innovative ideas; however, he also recognizes budget limits and fiscal constraints and is able to balance the two.

Dave’s approach to his campaign is an indication of the commitment he is willing to make.  He has been knocking on doors and visiting with voters in his district for months. He truly wants to hear what they have to say and I am confident he will represent his constituents fairly and stand up for their beliefs.

Please support Dave Fern; I cannot imagine a better representative in the Montana Senate.
