A few questions
What if the president could arrest American citizens without due process and detain them indefinitely? What if our men and women in uniform were sent to fight illegal and immoral wars?
What if when they got back there were no jobs and their benefits kept them at poverty level? What if our state took the money from the cigarette tax designed for veterans and used it elsewhere? What if they took it all and closed the Veterans Home in Columbia Falls?
What if the Forest Service closed the forests so that our timber industry was almost completely gone? What if the alphabet soup agencies closed our mining and mineral industries?
What If Flathead Valley had record unemployment numbers because of what some bureaucrat in Washington, D.C., thought was right? What if our small farms in the valley were regulated out of business? What if they closed down the “cheese lady” at the farmers market?
What if federal agencies didn’t abide by our sheriff as the ultimate law enforcement authority in Flathead County? What if we couldn’t even hike and pick huckleberries in “our” national forests?
What if FEMA put a flood plan in Evergreen that would double all the residents insurance rates, and after our best commissioner tried really hard to stop it, he had to shrug his shoulders and say, ”Well, FEMA is FEMA”?
What if you don’t vote for the one candidate for commissioner that knows how to use the federal law “coordination” to stop this madness? What if you didn’t vote at all?
What will you tell your children and grandchildren when they ask you what you did during the historic election of 2012?
