Firemen respond to burning beard

The Columbia Falls Fire Department responded to a report of a fire in the men's bathroom at City Hall on Wednesday morning, May 16.

Investigators at first were unable to locate the source of the acrid-smelling smoke, but further investigation uncovered a man who had partially set his beard on fire.

The man explained that was how he shaved his beard. The man wasn’t charged but told not to do it again in a public building.
