Fair questions

| May 2, 2012 7:49 AM

I have some questions for former fair manager Jay Scott, who sued the county and is now running for Flathead County Commissioner. Following are my questions:

1) If you get elected to the commission and get mad at Flathead County again, will you sue the citizens of Flathead County again?

2) It is well known that you got thousands of dollars from Flathead County citizens to settle your lawsuit. If you get elected to the commission, will you pay back the citizens of Flathead County?

3) If you won’t pay us back, will you donate work hours to pay back the citizens?

4) Rumor has it that you have boycotted the fair since you were terminated as fair manager. Will you continue to boycott the fair if you are commissioner?

5) Since you left, the fairgrounds look better maintained. The grounds are better kept, the buildings look more maintained and the fairgrounds look busy all the time. If you become county commissioner, will the courthouse look well maintained like the fairgrounds does now or will it look like it did when you were fair manager?

It is a real problem to have an employee that sues his employer and then decides he wants to be the boss of the employer he sued. How many employers would make someone a boss in their company if they sued you?

The last thing we need in the commissioners office is a disgruntled former county employee that sued us.
