Thomas Bell

Thomas Mack Bell, 69, passed away from natural causes at the Columbia Falls home of his brother, Britt Bell, on March 1, 2012.

Tom was born to Wesley Bell and Clarice Sargent on March 21, 1942, in Kalispell.

He graduated with a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering from LeTourneau College in Longview, Texas, in 1965 and was a master mechanic and engineer. He worked at Mountain Logging designing log skidding equipment before becoming a freelance engineer. Single all of his life, he resided at a home he built near Pressentine Bar.

He is survived by brothers Mark Bell, of Tensleep, Wyo., and Britton Bell, of Columbia Falls.

After cremation his remains will be scattered during a private family gathering.
