The Children’s House Montessori School is holding its 14th annual spring fundraising auction Saturday, March 10 at 6 p.m. at Grouse Mountain Lodge.

The annual event features a collection of products and services from more than 100 local businesses and organizations.

The Whitefish school is a nonprofit, non-sectarian organization devoted to children’s educational, social, emotional and physical well being. Programs include Montessori preschool, kindergarten, childcare and an after-school program for children in grades first through fourth.

Some of the big ticket items on the auction include a two night stay at a six bedroom house in West Yellowstone, a catered zip line tour at Whitefish Mountain Resort, a helmet cam from Sportsman and Ski Haus, a gift certificate to Laser Solutions and a chance to create your own ice cream flavor at Sweet Peaks Ice Cream.

Other popular items include a “taste of Whitefish” basket with gift certificates to many local restaurants, jewelry, teeth whitening, local artwork, spa packages, handmade items and more.

There are also kids items including custom birthday parties from The Wave, Flathead Gymnastics Academy and the Wholistic Equine Center and passes to Sawbuck DoJang and Flying Fish Kids’ Gym.

The silent auction begins at 6 p.m. with the live auction to follow. The school provides appetizers and a no-host bar will be available.

Alpine Theater Project founders and performers, Luke Walrath and Betsi Morrison, will be the guest hosts and auctioneers.
