Doris Roy

Doris Ruth Roy, 87, died June 20, 2012, at the Bee Hive Home in Columbia Falls.

She was born Aug. 14, 1924, in Midwest, Wyo. She graduated from Flathead County High School in 1943.

Doris married Russell Roy on April 21, 1944, in Seattle. She worked as a nurses aide, office clerk, housewife, grandmother of 14, great grandmother of 27 and a great great grandmother of eight.

She was a member of the Ladies Group of Central Christian Church, Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, and a choir member of The Bee Hive Home Assisted Living of Columbia Falls.

Doris is survived by her brother Jim Ramsey, of Bozeman; and children Sharon Stroisch and husband Dave, of Colville, Wash., and their family, Nancy Werner and husband Bill, of Columbia Falls, and their family, and Russ Roy and wife Gail, of Richmond, Texas, and their family.

Services were held June 23, 2012, at Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home in Kalispell.
