Just outside of Bigfork, below the the Bigfork dam, flows the Swan River's Wild Mile. Every year during the peak of spring run-off, Bigfork's Whitewater Festival plays out. The extreme slalom is one of the big draws of the festival. It took place Saturday, May 27.
