Gloria Hudson

Gloria Doreen Hudson, 84, of Columbia Falls, passed away July 19, 2012, at Whitefish Care and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born July 4, 1928, in Shelby, the daughter of Edwin and Elsie Mae (Ball) Adams. She eloped to Conrad to marry Wilbur Victor Hudson on Sept. 12, 1946.

The family settled in Columbia Falls in June 1964. Gloria enjoyed spending time at the Columbia Falls Senior Center.

She is survived by eight children, James Hudson, Edward Hudson and wife Marcy, Steven Hudson and wife Cindy, and Martha Knoll and husband David, all of Columbia Falls, Sandra Urrea and husband Jose, of Kalispell, Victor Hudson and wife Barb, of Mills, Wyo., Mark Denney and wife Blu, of Bullhead City, Ariz., and Roger Denney and wife Joan, of Vanceboro, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters June Dempsey, of Stevensville, and Shirley Davis, of Shelby; brother William Adams, of Anaconda; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Columbia Mortuary in Columbia Falls on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 2 p.m. Visitation will be from noon until the time of the service.

A gathering of friends and family will be at the Columbia Falls Senior Center following interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
