There were no fireworks for the Glacier Twins last week as the Legion AA baseball club fell 4-2 on July 4 to the Billings Royals. The Twins are now 6-31-1 for the season and are on a 15-game losing skid that dates back to May 28.

The Twins out hit Billings 5-3 and were down by just one run going into the seventh inning. Pitcher Connor Donahue kept it close, chalking up seven strikeouts in seven innings of work.

Nick LaGrandeur tallied one RBI and a walk. Jeremy Nielsen, Carl Talsma, Issac Venezio and Nathan Carr each had one hit.

The Twins host the Lethbridge Spitz Elks on July 12 at noon.
