Donita Richardson

Donita Mae Richardson, 50, of Columbia Falls, passed away July 6, 2012, in Columbia Falls. She was born Feb. 18, 1962, in Pomeroy, Wash., the daughter of Roscoe and Bernice (Johnson) Roberts.

Donita worked at the Columbia Falls Dollar Store for many years. In her spare time, she lived her passion to help others, whether it was an animal that needed a home or a friend who needed a place to stay or a helping hand, she was always willing. She was the kindest person, always thinking of others and taking care of everyone.

She is survived by her life partner Kurt Sanders; her four children, Mae Muhlnickel, of Seattle, Wash., Francis Muhlnickel, of Columbia Falls, Virgil Richardson, of Grants Pass, Ore., and Angela Muhlnickel, of Seattle; two grandchildren, Riley and Alexavier; her brother Dennis Roberts, of Vancouver, Wash.; two sisters, Karen Downs, of Columbia Falls, and Sandra Reeds, of Deer Island, Ore.; numerous nieces and nephews; and many precious friends, including Tana Sands Langlois, Shane Berlinger and Kathy Tucker.

A memorial service was held July 10, 2012, at Columbia Mortuary, in Columbia Falls.
