Glacier Symphony presents Baroque music

The Glacier Symphony's Baroque and Beyond Ensemble, a select chamber orchestra comprised of 21 symphony musicians, will perform three concerts this month featuring music from the Baroque era.

Selections will include Telemann's "Polish" Concerto in G Major, featuring soloist Alicia McLean on bassoon; Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 4 in G Major, featuring soloists Sam Taylor on violin and Beth Pirrie and Betsy Finch on flute; and Handel's "Water Music Suites."

Concerts will take place at the Whitefish Middle School performance hall on Friday, Jan. 13, at 7:30 p.m.; at the Glacier High School performance hall on Saturday, Jan. 14, at 7:30 p.m.; and at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts on Sunday, Jan. 15, with beer and brats at 2 p.m. and music at 3 p.m.
