Timothy Attard

Timothy J. Attard, of Kalispell, passed away unexpectedly as a result of a car accident early on the morning of Feb. 18, 2012.

Tim was born at North Valley Hospital in Whitefish, on June 14, 1983. He was raised in Columbia Falls and graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 2002. He was married and later divorced, and had one son, Harper Canyon Attard, in 2007.

Most of his adult life, he worked in the construction industry. He worked at Lilienthal Insulation delivering sheetrock and roofing. The last job he held was for Kelly's Painting.

He attended Hungry Horse Chapel for the first 18 years of his life. Tim really enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing, camping and hiking. He really liked music, both playing the guitar and attending live concerts at which he loved to dance. He liked to sew and make his own clothes among other things, all with his own unique style.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Joseph Attard, of Detroit, Mich.

Survivors include his son Harper Attard, of Kalispell; parents John and Sherry Attard, of Columbia Falls; brothers and sisters-in-law Tony and Catie Attard, of Kalispell, and Tom and Erica Attard, of Missoula; nieces and nephews Rylee 12, Jaden 10, Myah 8, Hazel 7, Asher and Sheyla 6 and Norah 2; grandparents Marvin and Irene Torgerson, of Columbia Falls, Wilma Attard, of Detroit, Mich., and Al Maeder, of Columbia Falls; aunts and uncles George and Anthony Attard, of Detroit, Bruce and Gloria Sizemore, of Walland, Tenn., and Barry and Judy Krieter, of Kalispell.

A private burial will be held at Glacier Memorial Cemetery. A public memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012, at Hungry Horse Chapel, U.S. Highway 2 East, in Hungry Horse at 2 p.m. A potluck meal will follow the service.
