Dennis Haider

Dennis Haider, 67, of Hungry Horse, died Dec. 6, 2012.

He was born June 6, 1945, to Frank and Mary Haider in Thief River Falls, Minn., and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1963.

Dennis served six years in the Minnesota National Guard, with six months active duty at Fort Jackson, S.C. He worked at Stoltze Land & Lumber Co. from 1976 to 2005.

He met Brenda Kohlman in Minnesota. They moved to Hungry Horse and were married on June 1, 1974. They later divorced but remained good friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Joel and his sister Margaret Bjerken.

He is survived by his siblings Catherine Harris, of California, Phillip Haider, of Minnesota, Fran McCreery, of Nebraska, and Rose McLain, of Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services took place at Columbia Mortuary on Dec. 12, 2012. Interment was at Woodlawn Cemetery.
