The Lady Bulldogs struggled to keep up with the speed of Class AA Glacier High last week in a nonconference basketball showdown at Kalispell.

Whitefish was held to just five points in the second half of the 59-14 loss.

Maura Kalbfleisch had five points on 2-of-6 shooting to lead the Lady Dogs. Simone Craft pulled down four rebounds.

Whitefish had some good looks in the post going trough Ashlee Brewer and Melissa Poe, but shots were reluctant to fall. Glacier jumped out to a 29 point halftime lead, mostly off fastbreak points.

Whitefish next hosts Bigfork Dec. 21 at 6 p.m.
