Eric T. Rowlatt

Eric T. Rowlatt, 93, died in St. Petersburg, Fla., July 16, 2012 due to natural causes. Services will be held in September in Florida.

Eric was born Feb. 19, 1919 in London, the son of Thomas and Florence Rowlatt, the middle child of three. The family emigrated to the U.S. through Ellis Island and settled in Havre.

He married Dorthea (Peggy) Campbell in Havre in 1942. He served in the Navy during World War II and was a machinist for 43 years for the Great Northern Railroad. The couple retired to Whitefish.

Survivors include Peggy, his spouse of 69 years; son, James (Kelly) Rowlatt, of Havre; daughter, Patricia (Dan) Finn of St. Petersburg; four grandsons and eight great-grandchildren
