| September 21, 2011 8:51 AM

Construction in downtown will cause a

shift in the Whitefish High School homecoming parade route on Sept.

30.

The parade will leave the north parking

lot of the high school, travel down Second Street to Kalispell

Avenue and turn left. It will then travel two blocks to Fourth

Street before turning left and returning to the north parking

lot.

The parade begins at 4:30 p.m. and is

open to anyone. Entry forms are available on the high school’s

website at http://whs.wsd44.org/. The deadline for entries is

Monday, Sept. 26 at noon.

For questions, contact Kelliann

Blackburn at 862-8600, ext. 426, or email questions to

blackburnk@wfps.k12.mt.us.

The week from Sept. 25 to Oct. 1 is

full of homecoming activities for both students and community

members.

A business window decorating

competition is planned during the week. The goal is to see windows

decked in green and gold, and marquees filled with messages in

support of the Bulldogs. For information contact Lonnie

Collinsworth at 862-8600, ext. 433 or

collinsworthl@wfps.k12.mt.us.
