Thomas Harmon

Thomas Calvin Harmon, 97, passed away in Kalispell on Nov. 5, 2011.

He was born on June 27, 1914, to Mary Hightower and Thomas Harmon in Grapevine, Texas. He worked in retail for many years in Kalispell, where he was director of the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce and president of the Kalispell Golf Association.

He is survived by his daughter Nancy Franklin and husband Don, of Olympia, Wash., and their three children; daughter Mary Ellen Barr and husband John, of Columbia Falls, and their son; two sons of his deceased daughter Jane; 16 great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be private, but a memorial service will be announced for next August.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
